hearing loss due to crohns.....

my sister has had crohns since she was 16 she is now 28. she had her first surgery last jan. She was on remicade acouple years ago and it was working well for awhile and then it stopped working.
now in the last 2 years she is loosing her hearing. she has lost 50% of her hearing so far. They dont know if it is from the crohns or all the meds she was on.
Has anyone experienced hearing loss
she is now being fitted for hearing aids.

My daughter has had crohns since 16 and she is now 26. Just in the last 3 weeks she has noticed some hearing loss. She went thru Remicade and Humira etc.  luckily no surgery yet, but headed there. She is now going to have her crohns specialist speak with the head, ears, and nose doctors at Strong Hospital in Rochester NY. will let you know if anything of importance comes up.
