infectious colitis

I have been diagnosed with infectious colitis, antibiotics did not help. It has been over 3 monthes. I take pepto bismol to keep it under control. Is there any thing else that would help and how long does this tipically last. It is the worst in the morning with several loose bowell movements. I am 63 years old.

Drink pommegranate juice daily, and this will calm down the colon. When the colitis is in control, start doing pranayam - breathing exercises.Avoid sweet and fried food.
