is prednisolone not working o.0

I was on 30mg [ a day] of prednisolone i am now on 15mg as you have to reduce it by 5mg per week. I have always had diaahrea even when on this treatment and now i have constipation for about 3/4 days,my faeces looks slimey/mucus [sp] and very sticky,due to me have constipation i now have a small tear/fissure just on the inside of the opening of my anus. May i also had there has been a slight bit of blood when i go toilet this is normaly found on the tissue and some times on the stool itself..the colour is bright red. Because of all this does this mean that the prednisolone isn't working o.0 i see my GI doctor on the 5th...but i just wanted to ask you guy to see what you think as im concerned...also last night i had a really high temperature and a painful headache luckily sleep made this go away....please write to me.i'd appreciate it...thank you xx
