i had elevated liver enzymes and liver inflammation but bot enzymes and inflmmation became normal after 3 months.
however, it is more than one month that i have strong symptoms of gas, bloating, diarrhea and constipation and poor digestion.
i did not see blood in the stool. no fever and no apatite, weight loose. do i need colonoscopy?
can my problem be ibd? how is ibd diagnosed? my ct scan was also normal.
Well, without a detailed clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Possibilities that may need to be considered include dietary causes, GI / infections, inflammations, malabsorption syndromes, micronutrient deficiencies, IBS, stress/ anxiety, hormonal/ endocrine issues etc. With the description this does not typically sound like IBD. The diagnosis of an IBD is bases on clinical features and investigations such as colonoscopy and biopsy etc. I would suggest consulting a primary care physician or a gastroenterologist for a detailed evaluation of your symptoms. After a specific cause is identified, a management plan can be drafted accordingly.
Hope this is helpful.
