joint pain

I had a total transvers colectomy 5 years ago and have had no problems with my crohn's the entire time.I woke up 3 days prior to this 5 year anniversary of my surgery with terrible pain and stiffness in my wrist, fingers, ankles and knees. This progressed as days went by now with swelling. I could barely use my hands. I tested for lupus, rhematoid arthritis and several other inflammatory things. Everything came back normal. The anti-inflammatory I was given cataflam did absolutely nothing so I was given a steroid pack which after about 3 days cleared it up almost 100%. I did have some rectal bleeding within the time I was on the steroid pack which did not continue, no other crohn's symptoms. They are chaulking it up to inflammatory arthritis associated with my crohn's which I have never had a flare up like this, only aching in my shoulders and hips while I would sleep. Just curious if anyone has ever had this happen. Thanks! Jennifer
