just had small bowel operation

Hi, i have just had a piece of my small bowel cut out,due to a flare up(blockage) it was also leaking so thier was infection, and i got septeseamia they parterly stapled me up,and i had antibiotics and tpn. They looked at me three days later,but my bowel was in a bad way,i ended up in intensive care on a machine to breath for me,but thankfully i am in a ward now and feeling much better,although i have got to go home on tpn, as i am to weak to have another operation at the moment. can anybody share thier stories with me,and howe things turned out,yours thankfully cathy.
