liver function test high

I was hosptialized about a month ago with fever of over 103( 10 days) I was not responding to antiobotics. I was refered to,and he saw my in the hospital, to a Internal medicine doctor. He started tests well he found my liver and spleen were inlarged along with high liver function in blood tests. Well then my Gastroligist said he had to take me off my chrons meds 6MP and humira. he said cause these are meds that lower imune system, Now he has me on pentasa. Well liver functions some better but still high.....so question is how long does it take to build imune systen, and could hight liver function along with live and spleen  inlargement?
