lymphocytic colitis

I am a 23 year old male. I was diagnosed with lymphocytic colitis three years ago. I've tried several drug treatments, prescription, as well as over the counter. None of these treatments have worked. Nothing seems to control the symptoms. I follow a fairly strict diet, limiting dairy, and fats, and I do not eat meat more than once a month. I'm 5' 10'' and weigh 130 pounds. I am unable to gain weight, and my stool is always soft, and have bowel movements 5-10 times a day . I am concerned that my condition will never get better. I am also concerned that it may develop into colon cancer due to the fact that I have been diagnosed at such a young age. Please Help.

Dear Mjbhobbes.
I am sorry to know about your condition, you are suffering from a rare disease at a very young age. Rest assure "it does not progress to cancer". There are many drugs availble in the market to reduce bowel motility which wil help in your diarrhoea. Consult your doctor.
