pediatric ulcerative colitis

My 7 year old sweet girl has spina bifida ,bi-lateral dislocated hips and bi-lateral clubbed feet. She also has redundant colon thus a C-tube with chait trap door was placed into her right side and into the area by her appendix. She has developed a white ulcer around @ the base of the tube along the wall of her colon. This is causing EXTREME pain and discomfort each time food passes through or she is flushed for her bowels. It has been since march that this is happening and the colonoscopy identified the ulcer. steroid treatments via the tube are not working. What kind of foods (if any) will lessen the pain or relieve it? the docs don't want to use narcotics ( I don't either) but she can't LIVE WITH THIS DAILY!!!! They don't want to remove the tube as then her colon will not be able to empty fully. PLEASE HELP ME?????????. They have no answers as they have "not ever seen this before" so maybe it will just go away ...REALLY!!! I think not...I want to yank this tube out but I know that wont solve it either. Any other options? Food or Treatments?
