Hey Ali, I was diagnosed with colitis 13 years ago. In my expirence, I had extremely bloody stools and my hemoglobun was horribly low. I was tired a lot from being so anemic and also had fairly bad/sharp pains in my upper left abdomen. I was only barely 13 years old and I was very very frightened due to all the new things I had to go through. I really hope that you don't have colitis as it is such a horrible disease but my suggestion to you is to hold on to hope and keep yourself educated. I have been through every GI procedure you could ever go through and I've had my fair share of ups and downs and I know that they're scary and uncomfortable and at times embarassing but just remember, you're not alone! Take care, I hope everything goes well.
