quick question about leg pain and stomach problems

My two/ almost three year old had an appointment with the ped gastro today..and he asked if she had any leg pain/swollen legs...and the funny thing about it was that she has been complaining about her legs lately. She doe snot want to walk anywhere..what does leg pain have to do with stomach problems? Thanks

I received her blood work back from the doctor and they said she has low zinc, magnesium, and iron...could this be related to the frequent bowel movements? She seems to eat more if I give her a zofran tablet( it is for nausea).

I know that some stomach and intestinal disorders can cause you to not absorb enough potassium and this can cause awful leg cramps.
