what causes a looped colon
351246 tn?1379685732
Hi!
Presence of extra loops of colon can be a natural anatomical variation of colon. This does not usually cause any problem to the person as the extra loops are redundant. Some times this may cause volvulus or distension with pain. The extra loops may make it difficult o visualize the colon during colonoscopy. Take care!
