Thankyou so much for your reply,
This has been helpful, that is the path we are trying to be on, Seen GP last night, one week after discharge and he said "he will fax referal and we can expect to hear from  specialist to make appointment.
This is good i just feel 2 weeks for GP to write referal is a bit slow? Maybe we need new  GP ? Not sure if this is resonable time to wait. 3 months now since first admission to hospital.'
Thanks again for listening it really helps

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there!

Pancreatitis and H. Pylori can be treated simultaneously, though if one has to choose ‘acute’ pancreatitis would be treated first. CT is a better test than ultrasound, though additional tests such as endoscopy/ biopsy may be required for a conclusive diagnosis. I would suggest consulting a gastroenterologist for a detailed evaluation and appropriate management.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
