I don't care who is in power, let all bills come to the Senate floor for a vote that is passed in the house. Stop filibusters (like the Republicans did).
Oops - I meant to say, a "do nothing" senate was NOT the attitude to take. I see you got it anyway, but I sure don't want to leave that out there for misinterpretation.
McConnell should certainly have taken some personal responsibility for it - after all, it's not like he was newly elected or anything.
I agree with you, but the statement would have been more true and meant something more if the jerk would have taken some personal responsibility.
I didn't hear the speech, but I agree that reference to a "do nothing" senate was the attitude to take - after all, McConnell's been part of it, all along.
I just hope McConnell is not a Republican version of Reid. I watched his "speech" and he kept referring to "This Do Nothing" Senate. I don't feel that was called for or the attitude we are looking for.
With that said, McConnell is "in charge" now. His old a$$ needs to get something done.
Interesting that it was a democrat giving him the business. Actually, no it isn't. Everyone had to be getting tired of Harry Reid and "Chase people down the aisle and around the floor" Pelosi. Unfortunately....theyre still around
"They want us to work together".....
Is that what the country is saying? I think the majority of the country is saying, "been there, done that and its time to try something else". Maybe its a bit of both.
(If Reid said it, its probably a lie anyhow.) That guy is a snake in the grass.
