Loretta Lynch Vows to Prosecute Those Who Use 'Anti-Muslim' Speech That 'Edges Toward Violence'...
There seems to be a double standard in play here, what about BLM's rhetoric towards police.
@ aja, I don't know where to draw the line on free speech but if your going to go after one group then you should go after all groups doing the same thing.
In fact, it was an article that I read on MSN, that brought up this very subject. The issue has been mentioned before, I believe it was being discussed right after the Boston Marathon incident; I was just surprised that it hadn't been resolved yet. It would be great if they could come up with a way to cross reference the terrorists list with the licensed buyers list regarding explosives ~ I don't know if this already exists or not ??
Here's a link to a similar story: msn.com/en-us/news/politics/gun-control-efforts-fail-in-senate-after-California-shooter/ar-AAfZwT9
I have a cousin who is a Pyrotechnic; he's able to purchase explosives w/ his operators license.
That "amendment" to the bill was a joke. MSNBC tried to play the lying game and say Republicans are allowing terrorists to purchase weapons, but the truth is that on the background check if your name pops up on the watch list then you already can't buy a gun and as for explosives you have to have a liscense to buy then already.
It was a silly thing the Dems did to play "gotch ya".
"under current law, if you are on a terrorist watch list you can't board a plane, but you can purchase explosives"
Where and what kind of explosiives?

But without hearing the context in which this was said, I am assuming as a result of all the isis, muslim hate of late, that all muslims are being targeted as a result and probably threatened as a result as well. That would b my guess anyway.
under current law, if you are on a terrorist watch list you can't board a plane, but you can purchase explosives and weapons. I hope they straighten this out soon.
I agree.

Just yesterday the senate voted down a bill that would have restricted anyone on the terror list from purchasing guns. So dont hold your breath.
Regarding the Homeland Security Vetting and the San Bernardino Shooter(s); they didn't have any records, no felonies, and they weren't on anybody's radar so to speak. It's no wonder they were comfortable buying weapons legally; they knew they were on a suicide mission, and didn't care if they left a paper trail. Here's something I find bothersome; under current law, if you are on a terrorist watch list you can't board a plane, but you can purchase explosives and weapons. I hope they straighten this out soon.
