I realize that their are those out there that like to repeat over and over and over. Government is bad, government overreaches, goverment needs shrunk and all that. There is a huge movement against anything government on the republican teaparty side. I get that! I dont agree with it, but I get it!
But Rand Paul, who has presidential aspirations for 2016 jumped on that bad government over reach, for political gain. Their right arm media fox, namely Hannity kept stirring the pot with the antigovernment propaganda and look how the government is being unfair and mean and bullish to bundy.
Yet no one bothered to notice how he kept saying he didnt recognize the governments existence. No one caught that? No one caught the fact that he kept ranting to disarm the government beuracrats, or that the only one he had to listen to was the sheriff of clark country. No one? No one? No one bothered to vet this guy or his situation. No one bothered to state that it had been thru the courts and the courts had issued 2court orders against him.
Remember the sheriff that gave the interview that said they were actually strategizing to put women and children in front to be shot in case the government shot at them? Go find the video of that interview, get the letters off of his cap he is wearing and look it up on the internet.....

This is my take on it. After watching the first interview with Bundy, I knew he wasn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer and didn’t put much stake in what he had to say said. Let’s lay Bundy aside for a minute.
We fought 2 wars simultaneously on the other side of the world, sent Helicopters into Pakistan at night to get Bin Laden, I could go on but I’m sure you get the picture. They were aware of Bundy and knew what the reaction would be. Our Government could have come in, unannounced. and confiscated everything they needed before the News Media had a chance to cover it. Again, they were aware of Bundy and knew what the reaction would be. I have to ask myself why? I think what they really wanted to know was what the American People’s response would be if they thought the Government tried to use force against them. It was more our less a test scrimmage that could have very easily went wrong and almost did.
What better choice could they have made than Bundy. Now the damage control is taking over by exposing Bundy for the Lunatic he is. Everyone is already forgetting about the Bloodshed that our Government (not Bundy) almost caused. The whole thing could have very easily been avoided but that was not the path or Government chose. I have to wander why?

BS and you know it. How about the way bundy went about the whole issue? The guy comes out preaching about blacks living off of subsidys when he himself is living off subsidys. Not only that, bundy is a member of a old boys club that doesnt acknowledge the government even exists and the only one who has control over him is the clark county sheriff. If fox had done the vetting they would have known this up front. He has a history of anti government hate and has made several statements basically trying to goad a confrontation with them for a shoot out.... The BLM knew this and is why they came the way they did.....I think the priorities are a might screwed up here.
They were not so much supporting him as they were against the way the government went about this whole issue. And they still believe that.
You really gotta love it. These crazy republicans came running to support this good for nothing Bundy and now that his true character is revealed they can't get away fast enough or far enough. And they'd have you believe he is an anomaly but he's far from that. He is way too typical or emblematic of the right wing southern mentality. He was so obvious from the beginning to all but these right wing sycophants. Everyone else saw clearly the real Cliven Bundy. It's so gratifying to see them now in their desperate retreat from their former hero. Sean Hannity? What an f'ing joke! Another loud mouth republican punk and a really stupid one at that!

They guy has not paid in 20 years, while the other ranchers have. 2, not one, but 2 court orders say he is wrong. If he doesnt like the law, then go thru channels to change it. It really is that simple, then you got fox and hannity and the politicians trying to make political hay out of something that shouldnt have been. I think this was more about "testing the waters" than it was about Cliven Bundy. Our Government saw what they needed to see. All it would have took was one single gunshot and the whole game would have blown up in the Government's face.

To make any kind of story out of this is looking for news. I don't care about this guy, all I care about is the resources wasted. No armed people should have been near his place. Go to court and do things as such, not amred men surrounding the property.
I’m not a big fan of Cliven Bundy but I find the entire thing ridicules and hypocritical. All this over 1 Million Dollars (the actual amount is unknown) in fines/fees, some cows, and some turtles. I would like to know how much illegal immigrants are costing us daily in unpaid taxes and using “entitlements” they have not paid in on. I would much rather see our Government spend that much effort collecting that money or doing something about it than herding up cattle, grazing on land that almost all of us don’t give a **** about
