Cystic Fibrosis and Antibodies

Hello. Please help me. I need someone experienced in CF to help me with this question. I have cystic fibrosis and was tested for HIV with an antibody test. It came back negative three times. My question is...Does the fact that I have cystic fibrosis affect the HIV antibody test (maybe giving it a false negative result)? In other words, do I still produce antibodies normally with cystic fibrosis? Would HIV antibodies be detected normally even though I have CF? If a medical professional could help me with this question I would appreciate it.

Thank you.
