If a doctor doing an ultrasound told you that you are six or seven weeks along, and on that same day also told you that you are due September 9, then you would have an estimated conception date of around December 17, meaning sex any time after December 10 or 11 could have produced the pregnancy.
But if you got the date by computing from the first day of your last period, or if the doctor used a little cardboard wheel, or if you got the due date from an ultrasound in your 28th week, then calculating from the due date will not be very reliable to try to guess when you conceived.
