now.. I am 24 weeks pregnant.. actually my bf told me that at first he is hesitant if the baby is his. i told him that he is the only guy that i had sex with. i also told him ad he knew we had sex last February 23rd and my last mens either 6 or 7th of the same month of February.
The last period does not prompt the next ovulation, ovulation begins the process, and can happen whenever the body wants it to happen.
Is your problem that the father of the baby does not understand that when a doctor says 11 weeks 'pregnant,' he or she means 9 weeks since conception?
Sorry, don't understand your question. What do you mean by "is correct"?
Do you mean, do people typically use the doctor's method of counting when telling others they are pregnant? Yes, they do.
So does this mean 11 weeks is correct.and 9.or 10 weeks fetus.
Because the doctor, or any other medical source, will count your pregnancy as beginning on the first day of your last period, not on the guessed-at day of conception. Ovulation is a hidden event, but the first day of bleeding of the last period a woman had before getting pregnant is a big, obvious signal. The doctor knows you did not get pregnant on day 1 of your period, after all, you were having a period! But that is the start point when counting pregnancy the medical way even so. You would have conceived about two weeks later. If you had said to the doc, "11 weeks? Does that mean I conceived 11 weeks ago?" he or she would have said, "No, about 9 weeks ago."
