I didn't mean it as"ok you cheated id still marry you" I was merely stating.I want us to be a family because that was the plan when we started to get pregnant, but if we can be civil and work together to give him a happy life im ok with that too.I just want to raise a child through love not turmoil
Thank you very much,I want to be civil but I think she can't get over the fact she cheated,so she finds a way to keep me at a distance,im over it have been since we found out,I just want to raise our son,be civil id even marry her,I still love her
Possibly you weren't aware that pregnancy weeks are counted by doctors from the first day of the woman's last period, not from the date of conception?
All medical counts of pregnancy (the number like "6 weeks 3 days" or "11 weeks 4 days") begin on the first day of the last period before getting pregnant. If a doctor says to a woman, "Congratulations, you are 8 weeks pregnant!" he means 8 weeks since her last period began and about 6 weeks since conception.
The count is done this way because, especially in the days before ultrasounds, the last period was the only signal a woman had regarding timing of pregnancy. A period and its blood is noticeable. Ovulation is not, it comes later and is hidden and date unknown. So they would begin the pregnancy count with the first day of bleeding of the woman's last period she had before getting pregnant (even though the doctor knew the woman was not pregnant then -- she was having a period!) And they still use this kind of count today, it's called the "Gestational Age" or GA.
The GA count begins on either the actual first day of the woman's last period, or on a calculated day if her cycles are irregular or she doesn't remember what day that was. All medical textbooks, computer-generated counts, and language used by doctors and nurses use that count even though modern technology now can help to pinpoint the conception date more accurately. That is why pregnancy, which takes 38 weeks from conception to full term, is still counted as being 40 weeks long. They add a spare two weeks at the front, to be able to calibrate the count to the presumed first day of the last period.
Conception calculators will tell you that your girlfriend got pregnant on or around the 19th. Better stop arguing and begin working on a civil relationship for the sake of your child.
She found out early she was pregnant and the date are from ultrasound, but I don't know much else we haven't talked in a couple months,we argue and it was affecting the baby
I was trying to figure out if I could be dad,she cheated on me on 3rd of sept,I had sex wit her before and after that date just about daily
There will be a lot of if's in this answer, don't just listen to the date and say "Aha!"
1) If the due date is accurate,
a) to be accurate, it would have to have been given to her:
i - early in pregnancy and
ii - from an ultrasound
... if all of those things above are true, September 19 is the suggested conception date for a June 12 due date.
However, if she was just given a due date from the calendar or a little wheel by the doctor instead of getting an ultrasound, or if she got an ultrasound but it was not very early in pregnancy, or if she doesn't know the difference between gestational age and conception age, this can be wrong.
When were the dates you had sex with her? What is the problem you are trying to figure out?
