Curious and a little confused please no negative comments

Ok so my last period was June 22nd which means ovulation should have occurred July 6th but my doctor told me I was 6wks August 10th...... Which is when I found out I was pregnant is it possible that because I didn't kno I was pregnant and was still living a party lifestyle drinkin and occasionally smokin marijuana until the day I found out could of affected my babies growth??? Because my due date should be March 29th instead of April 5th but I have a dating scan next week to determine actual due date. Im really confused on date of conception because of that because it confuses me because I keep track of when I have sex and based off April 5th due date it could possibly be between two guys even tho I cant remember having sex the week of July 13th which would have to be the ovulation date for the April due date because I know I was only having sex with one person but hangin out with male friends and he's tryin to convince me we did but I had sex with my sexual partner June 21, July 6th and July 20th

Get the ultrasound from the hospital visit, and take it to your next appointment with your own ob-gyn, and explain what you are trying to figure out, and tell the ob-gyn that the last time around that date that you had sex was the 6th and see what the ob-gyn says based on the measurements on the face of the ultrasound from August 10.

Unfortunately, you are way too late to split the difference in terms of dating, by getting an ultrasound now.  That should be done before your 9th week, for any hope of accuracy.  Your baby might be right in with the average growth rate, in which the ultrasound would be correct, or it might have grown more quickly or slowly than normal, which means by 21 weeks you could have conceived two weeks either side of the estimate you will get now.  

You could ask the guy who says you had sex the week of the 13th to pay for a prenatal DNA test (which costs $1,700) -- he might change his tune really fast about whether you actually had sex.  Or you can assume the sex on the 6th produced the baby, since sperm can live a while in your system.  Of course, you will need a DNA test once the baby is born, if not before, to confirm everything.

No not from that ultrasound because it was through the emergency they told me exactly 6wks when I went back to see a obgyn they just went off my last period and put March 29th and then from the emergency ultrasound they put April 5th so its really not clear what to go by because my ultrasound pic from my prenatal appointments says im 21 weeks but its still a weeks difference from the emergency ultrasound

When you had the ultrasound on August 10, did the doctor say you are 6 weeks 0 days?  Or just "around 6 weeks"?  And did you get a due date from that particular ultrasound?

And yeah this guy is tryin to convince me that we had sex the week of the 13th. When I know I didnt because I keep up with stuff like that who wouldn't like im positive on who im pregnant by just not the due date or time of conception

Exactly thats why im lost because it was 6wks on August 10th which was a Sunday even tho my last period was June 22nd which gave ovulation on July 6th which is when I had sex then the 20th of July...... And I am having a girl but how could that tell you July 6th is the date even tho thats the date im getting too

When I said "ask him to look at your ultrasound from your sixth week, and explain the issue," I meant, you explain your issue to him while he is looking at the ultrasound from the sixth week, so he or she can understand that you need a better idea of when you got pregnant.  I come out, based on what you said, at the 13th too.  But I can't tell from you post if you meant you were 6 weeks 0 days or 6 weeks 3 days or 6 weeks 5 days or what, at that earliest ultrasound.  Given the long life of sperm in a woman's system, 6 weeks 3 days or so would make sense.

You're saying that you didn't have sex with anyone besides on July 6 and 20?  Nothing around the 13th?  But someone is trying to say he had sex with you then?

I don't get from your story, if you are sure you only slept with one guy, why you are concerned about who the dad is.  Unless, the person who is saying you had sex is saying it was on or around the 13th, and that is making you nervous.

The only ultrasound that will help you very much in answering this question is the one you did in your sixth week.  If you were 6 weeks pregnant in August, there is no way to do a scan in November and expect it to be helpful on the issue of dating.  There is too wide of a margin for error by now.  It could be plus or minus two weeks.

When you are back with the doctor, ask him to look up your ultrasound from your sixth week and explain what your issue is, and see if an estimated due date from THAT ultrasound can be found for you.  You need to work from your earliest ultrasound to try to sort this out.

If the baby is a girl, the sex on the 6th could very well have produced the pregnancy.

Yeah I went based on last period and at 10 weeks I got my first sono since my last was a miscarriage. They said I was measuring right along with it. When is your scan?

Thats the same thing I saw online I just really dont know how they came up with a wk difference through the emergency and im in a research program at the hospital that tells me im 21 weeks based off my last period but until I get what they consider a medical scan like the dating and anamoly next week to measure the cervix and stuff ill have a for sure date and I immediately stopped everything once I found out

My sister smoked (cigarettes) her entire pregnancy and her son came out healthy. I knew I was pregnant at 3 weeks but still smoked weed because it was the only way I could eat. I told my doctor at 8 weeks I smoked weed and at 12 weeks they said they were drug testing me so I quit. But my baby is healthy. Measuring perfect. He's on track. Just stop the drinking because continuing could be harmful.

Well you won't know date of Conception until you find out your due date usually it's a couple days discrepancy but otherwise quite acurate , as for drinking etc a lot of people don't know there pregnant and they carry on doing there usual thing as long as you've stopped doing that now you should be fine X

I'm due March 30th. My last period was June 23. Its says you most likely conceived July 6. I checked because I know mine was July 7th but online it says the 6th for you.
