It sounds like it, as you have had two ultrasounds that both point to the end of the month of February or even the first of March.  When it comes to the human body, there is really no such thing as 100% sure.  But if the second guy does not  know, he should be told, since things sound mostly sure.  He will doubtless ask for a DNA test rather than just taking your word for it, but that is understandable.  If you doubt what I'm saying, and also to get some kind of thing to say to the guy, talk to your doctor, and specifically use the word "conception," don't pussyfoot around with words like "how 'far along' am I" or "how many weeks 'pregnant' am I," since due to the way doctors count this can lead to confusion.  Just ask him if the indicators from the ultrasounds really point to February 28 or March 1 for conception.  It sounds from everything you have reported that he will say yes.

Sweetheart, there is no such thing as a "safe period," as your information shows.  Sometimes women ovulate two weeks after their last period, and with such even cycles as you have, you could have fairly expected this too.  But instead, at least this time, as your ultrasounds show, you ovulated three weeks after your last period (and this could have been a one-time thing.  You can't even count on that for future information!).  This is why the so-called rhythm method *does not* work.  You have no business kidding yourself with it, all you will do is get pregnant.

To recap the evidence, you have had two ultrasounds, both in your first trimester.  Although an eleventh-week ultrasound can have up to a 6-day or so margin for error, a seventh-week ultrasound, if it is off at all (when used to determine a conception date) it's not off by more than a day or so.  This all pretty strongly suggests the first guy is, unfortunately, not the dad.

This leaves you options.  I don't know your situation, but you say you want to decide "right away" what to do.  I assume that means you're considering an abortion.  There is also adoption, and also having the baby and raising the child whether or not the guy you want to be the dad, is the dad.  You would have to think of what would happen in each case.  If one of them is simply impossible, move on to the next.  Are you in the U.S.?  There is always a chronic shortage of adoptable babies in the U.S., and long waiting lists of prospective parents.  Do you live in a country where abortion is legal?  Are you married?  Do you have other kids?  What is your financial situation?  What is your relationship to the second guy, would he provide child support?  All of these things play in to what you ultimately decide to do.

Could you tell me if the source of your anxiety is that you want the first guy to be the dad and it does not sound like he is, or if you want the second guy to be the dad and just really want to be sure?

No, you were not pregnant on the 14, not according to your ultrasounds.

Your earliest ultrasound, which is the best for making this determination, says you got pregnant around the 1st of March, which would have come from the sex on the 28th.

Misty, if your cycles are that regular, are you certain your last period began February 6?  Could it have begun more like Valentine's Day, the 14th?

Misty, when I ask you how long your menstrual month is, from day 1 of bleeding of a menstrual period to day 1 of bleeding of the next menstrual period, I am looking for a number like 28 days or 32 days or 34 days, not 5 days.  When I ask if your cycles are irregular or regular, I mean does your period come like clockwork exactly the same number of days apart month after month?  Or, instead, does it sometimes come at 25 days and sometimes come at 36 days and you can never tell what to expect?  I am trying to determine why two ultrasounds suggest you ovulated late in relation to your last period beginning February 6.

If you had sex with the second guy on the 28th, that is the most likely time that would have produced the child, according to the information from your ultrasounds.  Your seventh-week ultrasound suggests you conceived around March 1 and your eleventh-week ultrasound suggests you conceived on February 23-March 5, neither suggesting a date as early as February 16 despite sperm being able to live in your reproductive tract 5-6 days after sex.  If the guy on the 28th took off the condom after a while, that even gives more credibility to the dates given to you by your ultrasounds.  Is the problem that you want the first guy to be the dad?  because it doesn't look that possible.

Are you sure there were no tear or holes in the condom with the second guy? Did he touch you with his penis after he removed the condom
Anniebrooke did say it's looking like the second is the father but the first guy is not ruled out. She's very good about figuring dates and such out.
The only way to know for sure is a DNA test when the baby is born.

No, it indicates the second guy.  Did they give you an estimated due date from that 7th-week ultrasound?

You have to remember what "x weeks x days" means, to a doctor.  They begin the count on the first day of your last period (or estimated first day of the last period) not on the presumed day of conception.

The only thing not adding up is that both ultrasounds suggest that you conceived late in your cycle, one suggesting the 28th of February and this one suggesting the 1st of March.  Those would be rather later than average if your period began on February 6.  How many days do you go between day 1 of one period and day 1 of the next?

Regarding gestational age, it sounds like you are confusing the "weeks" count that the doctor said for his telling you that so-and-so many weeks ago, you conceived.  f a doctor, nurse, or any medical person says you're 7 weeks or 11 weeks "pregnant", it is not a figure that counts back to conception but to two weeks before conception, to the estimated or presumed first day of your last period.  All medical counts of pregnancy (the number given as weeks and days) are calibrated to two weeks before conception, to align with the first day of the average woman's last period before getting pregnant.  If a doctor says to a woman, "Congratulations, you are 8 weeks pregnant!" he means 8 weeks since her last period began and about 6 weeks since conception.

The count is done this way because it is a leftover from before ultrasounds, when the period (a big, obvious signal) was the only thing that doctors had to begin counting from. The doctor knows the woman was not pregnant then, she was having a period!  But that is why pregnancy, which takes 38 weeks, is counted as being 40 weeks long.  They add a spare two weeks at the front to be able to calibrate the count to the presumed first day of the last period.

Sometimes a woman's GA count (the weeks 'pregnant') given to her by a doctor does not align perfectly with when the first day of her last period really was. This is because a lot of women don't ovulate neatly two weeks after the first day of their last period.  The ultrasound sees and measures the actual embryo, so a woman who gets a count that doesn't line up with her real period should date the conception as being the weeks count, less two weeks.  When the doc told you that you were 7 weeks 'pregnant,' he was saying your embryo measured about what an embryo measures that had been conceived 5 weeks ago.

As I said, this all adds up to you ovulating later than the average woman in your cycle.  This is why I've asked more than once if your cycles (from period to period) are long.

Both guys are in range.  Are your cycles irregular, or long?

If the ultrasound had been in your seventh week, it would hint (but not prove) that the first guy was possibly a slight bit too early, because it your due date would suggest conception was around March 28, but an 11th-week ultrasound is too late to be precise enough to make that call or say that date.  Your doctor is correct to say there is a margin for error of about a week on either side, and that unfortunately means the sex on the 16th is as likely to have gotten you pregnant as the sex on the 20th and 21st.

This is one for a DNA test; you won't be able to tell from any other indicators.
