Possibility

If first day of lmp April 27 had sex with guy 1 on May 2 and guy 2 on May 4 but used protection May 6 with guy 2 again used protection and May 10th with guy 2 again without protection and the rest of the month with second guy without protection. Found out on May 29th home pregnancy test that im pregnant and did first ultra sound on June 11th saying I'm exactly 6 weeks and EDD 02/01/2016 who is possibly the father? I would think guy 1.

Incidentally, the software for MedHelp is changing.  When I read this on the "old site" software, up come some odd letters, "&nbsp."  If those appear for you, it's safe to ignore them.  :)

So is it possible for me to ovulate on the 6th or the 7th instead and conceive on the following day ?

Yes, but in that scenario your doctor doing the ultrasound would have to have been way off, and that is unusual.  This is why I'm recommending another test from an accredited lab.  Those drugstore DNA tests have a poor reputation for accuracy.

First someone ovulates, then they conceive, and if they don't conceive within 24 to 36 hours, the egg will become nonviable.  Sperm lasts 5-6 days but eggs don't.  That is why it is so puzzling to me that the doctor told you that you conceived on the 11th and yet a drugstore DNA test said the guy with whom you had sex on the 3rd is the dad.  f you conceived on the 11th, the earliest you would have ovulated is the 10th, and that is a long time for the first guy's sperm to remain viable in your body.

I guess that the only thing to do is get another test with the guy from the 2nd and 3rd, but this time get it from a certified lab (call the family courts to find out where to go for this test).  If he comes up positive again, you'll just have to decide the doctor was giving you wrong information.

Thanks for the feedback I wish I could test the second guy but he's just gone. I could've conceived though on the 5 or 6 with the sperm on May 3 and just didn't ovulate till may 11? I don't even know how all that works I just know I'm really fertile right after my period and that's the time I had sex with guy 1

I guess before I would believe the drugstore test, I would test with the guy who acted like a sleaze about it, just to rule him out, because if the doctor told you May 11, well, it is pretty hard to get all the way to May 11 with sperm from May 3.  At the least, I would test the first guy again at a lab certified by the courts to determine paternity, which of course you are going to have to do anyway in order to file for child support.  But I'd go to the trouble of summonsing the second guy and testing both.  You need to be absolutely sure.

Sorry my story is confusing. Guy 1 slept with him on May 2 and 3 and he came in me and didn't have protection. Guy 2 slept with him may 4,6,8 all those dates we used protection and then may 10 and everyday after may 10 was without protection with guy 2. My obgyn told me after he did ultra sound on June 11 that I'm 6 weeks 0 days my lmp was April 27 and he said I ovulated on May 11 but I might've conceived on May 6 or 7 that's just me guessing the conception date by the way. I only tested guy #1 because guy#2 was just so mad when I told him the truth and he left and just told me he won't be there for my delivery and all that and he never showed up or even agreed to test him he just kept denying that it's his cos he used condoms on the first few nights in May so I only did swabs on the first guy and it came back that he's the father. Baby kinda look like guy 1 but can't be sure because he's still little. He's only 3 weeks and 2 days. Maybe the dr miscalculated something or told me something that I missed

I'm thinking that (of course given that the DNA test is right), if the only time you had sex with the first guy was May 2, the ultrasound was either way off or the ultrasound tech told you a conception date instead of a gestational age.  It's pretty unusual for a tech to use any kind of count but a gestational age (which begins on the computed first day of the woman's last period, not on her conception date), but I guess it might sometimes happen, if the woman is asking when she conceived.

So, just to be sure once again that there are no typos and I am not misunderstanding your story, the first guy was only on the 2nd of May and not any time thereafter?  And then the other guy was all the other days you have named -- 4, 6, 8, 10 and then every day from there on?  And the ultrasound said 6 weeks 0 gestational age (GA) not conception date, on June 11?  And you used the HomeKit DNA with both guys?   Did you get the ultrasound from your regular ob-gyn or from the ER?  The May 2 date is very early compared to the 14th of May that the 6 weeks 0 days GA would indicate for conception. (Did the ultrasound tech tell you that you were 6 weeks 0 days from conception, by any chance?  Usually they tell you gestational age, which is from the first day of your last period.)  Sperm is not said to live 12 days in a woman's system, though some research hazards the guess that it might live up to a week.

Hi Annie. Yes I did have a DNA test done and it was just those HomeKit DNA just to find out who father is but it's not legit to use for child support or anything I just really needed to see who the father is and it's the first guy s baby. I had sex with first guy on May 2 and actually May 3 and guy 2 was May 4,6,8 but he wore condoms and again guy 2 May 10 and everyday after may 10 but he came in me starting may 10. So the test came back and it's the first guy. Not what I wanted but am still happy with the baby. Thank you all for all the answers here it helped me to stay calm while I was worried sick during pregnancy ... And yes my ultrasound on June 11 said I'm 6 weeks and 0 days.

Sounds like guy 2.  You only had sex with guy 1 on May 2?  From your ultrasound saying exactly 6 weeks on June 11, that comes out at May 14, and from your estimated due date, it comes out at May 11.  It's close, but it is not quite close enough, to be guy 1's if the last time you had sex with him was May 2.

I had my son on Jan 25 I was induced supposed to have him on feb 1st and it turns out that his father is guy 1 wanted to come back and update this for anyone who may be looking for answers. So more than likely I probably conceived may 6 or 7 and since the sex I had with guy 2 around that time was with condoms he wasn't the father. Not what I wanted but I'm glad to know who the father is finally not worried about it no more and baby looks nothing like guy 2 :)
You have had a DNA test -- not just doing this all based on the baby looking nothing like guy 2, right? -- and the first guy is the dad?  And the last time you had sex with guy 1 before getting pregnant was really May 2, and you had an ultrasound on June 11 that said you were 6 weeks 0 days gestational age?  Well, that count suggests you ovulated on May 14, and that's a lot longer (May 2-14) than sperm is supposed to live in your system.  If you didn't have sex after May 2 with the first guy but a DNA test has now proven him to be the father, something was wrong with the ultrasound count of 6 weeks 0 days.

Very sorry this didn't turn out the way you wanted.
