paternity testing

Has anyone had a paternity test by the doctor??? Im getting one so my convict ex boyfriend will stop stalking me around town to see "how im doing" any advice????

Be sure to look up reviews on the lab you use.  There are only a couple with good reputations for accuracy.

Yea we set up a blood test its my husbands baby:) the crazy guy is abusive and needs to go back to prison but the test is still like 1500 so not.terribly expensive but still crappy!!!

Well, as I said, a doctor will not do CVI sampling or an amnio just to find out who the father is, which leaves you with doing a blood test for you and the guy who is stalking you and any other guy who might be dad.  I think I've read that the cost is around $2,000.

A prenatal test.... super nervous but thats okay!!! Its all gonna be just fine!!! He just needs to go away and leave me alone once and for all!

Are you talking about a prenatal test?  There are two ways to do it before the baby is born, one being an invasive test of the placental sac, which is usually only done if something else needs to be known about the pregnancy, and the other being a blood test (drawn from your arm and the potential dad's) that costs a whole lot.  Even with a serious situation like being stalked, I would think a doctor would advise you to do the blood test if you have to do it before the baby is born, as the invasive kinds of tests involve risks to the pregnancy.

Or do you mean a post-natal test?  Those are pretty simple and cheap, and only take a trip to the lab by you and the baby, and the dad.
