whos the baby daddy

In the beginning of September I had intercourse with an ex and had a period on the 15 of September(don't know if it was normal, ie implantation bleeding). In September, after break-up I started seeing my current bf. On about the 22 or 23 of October I got my period(don't know if it was normal, ie implantation bleeding and I think it was late). I went to the docs on Dec. 11,2012 and gave them an estimated LMP of October 15. According to ultrasound, they said I was 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant which means my LMP was October 29? My estimated due date is August 4,2013. Anyway, based on these calculations it would be my current bf but I have a few questions. Q1) if I had implantation bleeding would the ultrasound detect it making me further along? Q2) Can an ultrasound be off by 3+ weeks? Q3) Did the ultrasound go by my conception date since my period was a week before? Q4) Am I just paranoid because my bf was told( and has proof) that he couldn't have kids? Q5) If my period in October was late, did u get pregnant in September or October making me further along? Am I just paranoid? Btw I went to the docs to do another ultrasound scan on January 8,2013 making me 10 weeks and 1 day with a due date if August 5,2013.

Thanks for answering my question nd to answer yours I didn't sleep with anyone in October or November besides my bf. I guess I'm just paranoid into thinking the doctors nd ultrasound techs made a mistake since my bf showed me the documentation from the docs stating that he couldn't have any kids.

I assume, from your story, that the last time you slept with anyone other than your present boyfriend was in September?  Nobody else in October or November besides your boyfriend?  You didn't conceive the baby until November.

Some of the things you're writing about are material to assessing your dates, most especially that you had one ultrasound at 6 weeks 2 days and another at 10 weeks 1 day, and they gave you due dates that are only one day different.  An ultrasound will not confuse a baby conceived in November for one conceived in September.  Two ultrasounds will especially not confuse a baby conceived in November for one conceived in September.

Some of the points you listed don't matter, such as imagined "implantation bleeding."  A woman who gets it (and tons more think they might have gotten it than do get it) will have a light dot of blood one day.  She will not have days of bleeding.  An embryo is smaller than the dot at the end of this sentence at implantation.  It is not going to give you gushers of blood that last as long as a period.

Some of the points you list only matter until the ultrasound comes along to show that they are not important, such as when your last period was.  Women don't always ovulate exactly 14 days after the first day of their last period.  Doctors say that if the ultrasound measurements of the baby indicate something different than when the last period was, all it means is that you ovulated a little later or earlier in your cycle than the average.

About your boyfriend and his "proof" he can't have children.  Has he had a sperm test done since you got pregnant?  If you did not sleep with anyone else in November, your boyfriend's old "proof" is obsolete now, as he sure has proof now that he can.

Using a conception calculator and the due date of August 4, here is what comes up:

Probable date of ovulation:  November 11, 2012
Possible dates of conception:  November 7 to 15

If you really slept with only your boyfriend in November, this is his baby.
