worried, please advise!

by NovemberHope, Apr 02, 2008 02:28PM
I am officially 4 weeks pregnant today. ;)

The doc said it wouldn't do any good to check the HCG levels for another week or so, so I am going to wait.  I have been using the Fertility Awareness method to get pregnant, but is it useful in detecting a problem after you have achieved pregnancy?  My temps have been ~98.4 for the past couple days.  What kind of temps in the next few weeks?  At what temp is it normal to cap out in pregnancy?

I am just very scared I will have another missed miscarriage. (There were almost no symptoms) Any advice?

I am not 100% positive, but I believe if your temps stay above your coverline - it is a good sign.  Hope that helps!  Congrats on the pregnancy.

Yes, you should really only rely on HCG level!  Your doc should check your HCG level every 2-3 days and it suppose to double....My doc checked mine 3 times , had an u/c today, so a gestatial sac, in 12 days Im going for another u/c to see embryo in there.....

So yeah, HCG level should show exactly where you suppose to be.

I wouldnt count on body temp as much as HCG levels.  I would have that done asap.  And like noted above make sure they are increasing.
