So I've only gained one pound so far and I'm like 12w4days, but I look liked I've gained more. I still had 16 pounds from 1st pregnancy so was by no means back to my "normal" self :( but by week 7 or 8 I could barely fit into my pants anymore and now my bump is super noticeable. At my appointment on Tuesday my uterus was about halfway to my belly button so right on track. Anyone else experience this? I just feel so fat.
I was trying to loose weight before I got pregnant but my metabolism is really slow so even though I worked out 3 to 4 days a week an hour each I was only about to loose 2lbs (got down to 167) then I got pregnant and lost another pound. So I'm really excited that at 12 weeks I've gained 1 lb so I'm back to 167lbs, but I just don't get why I look so much bigger?
I am on my 3rd pregnancy and just turned 13 weeks. I already look like I did when I was 6months with my daughter and I too have only gained 1lb.I am very small though (4ft 10 and 96lb) so it is very noticeacle on me.
With both of my other pregnancies I lost some weight. I have already lost 3lbs with this one. I'm a bigger girl though 5ft 2, 200lbs. My doctor told me that as long as I'm eating right and exercising I can lose and baby will be fine. Don't worry about looking pg already, just think about it as you're losing in all the right places (legs, butt, etc) and gaining where needs be for baby... 14wks today!
Thanks for reassuring me you guys :) I just keep thinking how embarrassing it would be if someone ask how far I am and I'm like "only 12 weeks" and they're like wow you look 6 months, lol. So it's nice to know that it's "normal."
Lol I feel the same way. You could always just mess with them... It's not like you're going to see most of them again, so you could be like, oh the doctor messed up and instead of one he implanted 5... And just walk away lol :D
