MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
How are you? The risk factors for thrombosis after a caesarean section include, age over 35 years, overweight mother, and  medical conditions such as infection or paraplegia. Try not to be scared and talk to your doctor about this. Support groups in your place or through the internet may help. Heparin  reduce the risk of a pulmonary embolism and the risk of developing a clot in your leg.  Staying as active as you can and wearing a prescribed compression stocking may also help. Regular prenatal consult is highly recommended .Take care and do keep us posted.
