Only a complete evaluation may help in confirming whether you have varicose veins of the penis or not. The cause of varicose veins on the penis is unknown but most likely related to a small blood clot in one of the superficial veins of the penis. This leads to thickening of the vein and eventual fibrosis. There is another condition called lymphangisclerosis which may mimic it. It occurs due to thickening of a lymphatic vessel .It is recommended to use lubricants during masturbation or during sexual intercourse to avoid bruising the vein. Follow-up with your personal physician is essential. A clinical examination is must for diagnosis and management. Best luck and regards!
