Tests to diagnose protein S & protein C deficiency?

what tests should I ask my physician to order to rule out or rule in protein S and protein C deficiency.

I have some family members with this and want to know if I have it before deciding whether to go on estrogen hormone replacement for menopause symptpms.

Hi,
How are you? Protein S and protein C help control blood clotting. A blood test can be done to see how much of these protein are present  in your blood. Talk to your doctor abut this for proper management.
A blood sample is often needed. Take care and regards.
