I went from a dull achy throbbing pain to now shooting pains going up my calves.  It's not constant but when it happens I am in agony...any ideas?

Hi,
How are you? Do you still have the symptoms that you mentioned? Aside from deep vein thrombosis, lower leg pain could be due to peripheral artery disease, infection, varicose veins, nerve issues, or musculoskeletal conditions. It is important that further evaluation and additional diagnostic tests be done to determine the underlying cause. Treatment will depend also on the diagnosis. Take care and do keep us posted.
