is jumping as exercise not recommended for patients with superficial phlebitis (with clotting)? I know swimming and walking are recommended.

Hi!
In superficial phlebitis with clots, all exercises can be done. Usually a patient is advised to wear compression stockings while doing exercises like jumping. If the inflammation is active, jumping may be painful. Also if you are at high risk for embolism, then jumping may be contraindicated. Do discuss this with your doctor and sort this out. Take care!
