Broad based posterior disk bulge cervical
Just got my MRI results back and I have a
1.  Broad based posterior disk bulge and moderate right forminal stenosis;
2.  Bi-lateral posterolateral osteophytes with moderate right and mild to moderate left forminal stenosis
I went for the MRI because I have had neck pain and headaches (migraines). Difficult to move my head and don't want to do anything for fear of being in pain for days. I am being referred to a neurosurgeon.
My question is, is the above bad enough for them to suggest surgery.  I want to be more active and pain free.
