CMT & MRI

Does Charcott-Marie- Tooth disease have an abnormal MRI? Recently saw a pt in my psychiatry practice that had muscle weakness in lower extremities, very poor concentration & other sx that waxed & waned. I sent her for MRI of brain w/o contrast, which showed numerous periventricular white matter lesions, compared to the one she had five years ago. Radiologist said they were not completely consistent w/ MS or small vessel disease. She then told me she has a strong family hx of CMT. I could not find reference to CMT & abnormal brain MRI. What do you think? I set up an appointment w/ my neuro buddy for her.
