Degenerative Disc Disease (Thoracic Spine)

I am a 47 y.o male, diagnosed with DDD and have had 2 lumbar surgeries (2002,2003) the last surgery was a lumbar spinal fusion @the L5-S1 area, I have also been diagnosed with DDD of the Cervical Spine. For the past 7 months I have been having very bad pains in my upper back, I was concerned as it felt like it was in the back part of my right lung, I had a few X-rays taken and this showed that my lungs were clear however it did show DDD in my Thoracic Spine (upper back). From the info I have researched online I have found out that this is a fairly rare problem, most DDD of the spine occurs either in the Cervical and/or Lumbar spine. I currently take NSAIDS daily but cannot get relief from this pain, taking a shower has become a painful chore, I am awakened from sleep everytime I roll over in bed, this is making me very tired, has anyone else had this problem and if so what did you do for this? I appreciate any help, Thank You
