Facet Aropathy

I have tried facet injections, physical therapy, various forms of Yoga, medications, ice packs, etc to help curb the burning and pain I have in my scapula, under my arm and up my neck from an arthritic spine & facet aropathy. I am only 31 years old and have suffered from pain & numbness fo ryears in my back neck, and now hands & feet. The only relief I get is through massage but that is only temporary. Does anyone know if Prolotherapy is worth trying? Or if anyone in the Boston area performs it? I have heard it is not always covered by insurance but thought I would at least look into it if there is a chance it could help.

Prolotherapy works by stimulating the body to make new fibres, which are laid down within the substance of the ligaments, thickening and strengthening them.

But I think that your pain is due to soft tissue inflammation-----"The only relief I get is through massage" -----  so relive inflammation is your treatment option ,not thickening or strengthening tissue.

If you need a little advice,deep and intensive needles do better job for this.

Hello,  my name is Kelly, I'm 42 years old and have degenerative disks, facets and alot of arthritis in my lower 3 vertibrae.  I have had: injections, spinal blocks, physical therapy, 10's machine, heating pads etc. I've been to several surgeons they say they can't do anything for me.  My family doctor won't give me pain medication nor will the surgeons.  I've been living with this for several years and I'm just a big meany.  do you have any suggestions?  I'm to the point that I can't work even 3 hours a day, sometimes I can't get out of bed with out help.
Any idea's?
