Is there any way I can help?

by christinedsmith, Sep 26, 2009 11:40AM
I have cerebellum degenerative disease.  My maternal grandmother, mother, sister, and brother also have it.  My son shows symptoms of the disease as well.  He also has been diagnosed with familiar tremors and Narcolepsy.  I would like to find out if my misfortune can help any researchers studying this disease.  I still teach school despite my fatigue and difficulty sleeping and sometimes speaking.  I have all the other symptoms that go right along with this disease.  Is there anything I can do to help others?
