Myopia degeneration

Ok....I just recently had an angiogram done on my eye and was informed that I have a laquer crack, which I guess is a result of a laquer crack.  Ok, so this is freaking me out a bit.....mostly because I only have one good eye.  I had two detached reitna's and a lens transplant in my other eye.  But it just seems like my doctor isn't sure about anything.  In fact (which at least he's honest) he said that he just doesn't know enough and that he asked me to go and see the other Retinal Specialist (is that what RS stands for??  I've seen it a million times on the blogs - guess I need to catch up on the lingo) who performed my second surgery (they teamed up together to do the 2nd reattchment and transplant).  But when I usually go to see him for follow ups on the "bad" eye....he doesn' t say much or give me much information.  Nice guy and all (his staff is totally incompetent by the way...so I hate visiting him) but sometimes I feel dumbfounded when I leave his office.  It's like I'm the ping pong table and they are passing the buck back and forth between the two of them.  "well, go see Dr. Michaels"...."well go see Dr. Reinglass"....you know.  Although my primary doctor (opthamologist) is awesome guy he doesn't have the background for this or at least he admitted so.  I work at a job with two screens and ever since I've been working on them, my eyesight and depleted considerably.  I want to get out of this job, but I want to go on LTD, but I don't know if my company will allow it, or even social security.  Do I have enough evidence on my side to claim these, or will I be denied.  This is all so crazy and seems to be acting fast, so I have a lot of questions and nobody to answer them.  The hardest part is that nobody "sees" your diagnosis so they don't think anythng is wrong....who cares if I'm blind right????? As long as I get my work done right????  My whole left side is aweful...I run into people all the time in public.  Thank god my husband is so great about it.
