does autoimmune disorders interfere with degenerative disk disease
Does having autoimmune arthitis -(sarcoidosis, hashimotos, sjrogens, amongst others cant remember right now,)
affect healing of a spinal fusion in thoracic degenerative disc disease.
I dont know if my pain is from original herniated disk, failed surgery, or autoimmune disorders?

I am not sure either- I can only tell you that I have had 2 failed surgeries.  The 2nd surgery has not even healed, and it has been 6 years!  I also have a bad immune system- I have very severe asthma- I am allergic to 91 of 92 things I was tested for- I react violently when I get a cold/flu/pneumonia- it takes me  a couple months to respond to medical treatment.  I also have severe hypothyroid- am on a complete replacement.
My doc have said 'yes', that my immune system causes problems.
