2 teeth needing root canal???

Hello again!I wrote a few weeks ago about my "tooth crisis" I've been going through. I ended up going back to the endodontist and he did a root canal this week on one tooth. I'm afraid however that either he got the wrong tooth, OR there was possibly more than one tooth causing the problem & pain. Is it possible to have 2 teeth next to each other that both need root canals?  The pain is not as severe and intense as before, but now the tooth with the root canal feels great (because it feels nothing of course), and the one next to it is killing me!  Suggestions?  My endo thinks I'm whacko I think, he told me to give it a week, the pain will go away, but I'm not kidding ya, it's NOT going away from the root canal I had this week.  HELP!!!!!!

It is definitely possible to have two teeth that need root canal next to each other.  But I would wait at least a week to be sure.  Is the pain any different than before the root canal or is the same exact pain you were having??  Do you have any improvement.

yes its possible. ask your endodontist to evaluate that. someimmes adjacent teeth feel sore after root canal is done on a nearby tooth
