3 replaced crowns all have cold sensitivity

I go to an 800 Dentist referral for an exam/checkup. I'm talked into replacing 3 crowns that show some
cavity decay (which I don't question).  I'm 56 yrs old. The prior 3 crowns on back molars DID NOT have
cold sensitivity. Now...all 3 are temp sensitive, but not impact sensitive at all.  I highly question going in
and having 3 crowns replaced and all 3 seemingly now require root canals.  His attempt to adjust the molar
surfaces slightly did nothing.  I've paid him $1100 from one root canal, I don't think I'll be lining his pockets
with the other 2.  I say the odds of all 3 replaced crowns being now temp sensitive is high IMO.

if there was no cold sensitivity before new crown delivery, the most common cause of cold sensitivity after new crown is occlusal interference of new crown. If your dentist can not solve occlusal problem, seeing an occlusionist or prosthodontist is advised.
