6 yr old has a non-painful ***** gum sore

by imamom2008, Dec 04, 2008 10:04PM
My young daughter has had a blister/palup looking sore with pus inside on the outside gum area between her #21 & #22 teeth. It has been there for about a month or more. She did have a deep filling placed in the tooth about 5 months ago. The sore had shown up about 2 months ago then left.It was smaller & no pus. Now it came back ( if it is the same one). At first I thought it had to be a cancker sore but it is not painful...and has pus in the sore. The tooth itself is not in pain & neither is the sore. I put over the counter cancker sore patches on it the last three nights & it has disapated a lot but it is still there. I do not understand what it is .( Canker sores don't emerge on hard tissue and my daughter never complains about any pain. )  Please help me to understand what this could be.
