A cut on my gum?

I have a cut on my gum and it has been a few days already and it still hurts..
I wonder if this is a serious problem or anything so I had to ask..

Nope, doesn't look serious to me. I often get them when I brush and the toothbrush slips.
Then I get a cut that resembles that.
  Rinse your mouth with warm salt water (not hot) several times a day. Within the week it should be all gone.
