Acid Erosion?

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone can help me. I suffer with a lot of acid reflux due to a small hiatus hernia. The acid often enters my mouth, and as of late, my teeth have become extremely sensitive, and a slight yellowish colour. I'm only 18, and I have fairly healthy teeth otherwise, and do brush my teeth morning and night. I had the habit of brushing my teeth after the acid reflux to get rid of the foul taste, but my dentist advised me not to do so, as this would just scrub the acid into my teeth. I was wondering if there was any sort of mouthwash or gentle toothpast you could reccomend that will help with my extremely sensitive teeth, and yellowish tinge to my teeth. I can't seem to find any that have worked, or do both. Thanks.

I have tried a toothpaste called Sensodyne, that is fairly popular here in the UK, but this doesnt seem to help my sensitive teeth atall. I feel I may have done to much damage, and theres now not much of a chance of any mouthwash or toothpaste helping? My dentist reccomended a mouthwash to use straight after I had acid enter my mouth as an alternative to brushing my teeth to clear the bad taste. Is there a cure for sensitive teeth?

Did your dentist recommend any mouthwash in general?  I would try a fluoride rinse to see if that'll help with remineralizing your teeth.  Brushing isn't a bad idea but with the acid exposure to your mouth, it may soften the enamel which rigorous brushing could damage later on.  Have you tried any sensitivity toothpastes?
