I had a crown put on in September onto a tooth that had a root canal. Recently I started noticing a very bad taste and smell in my mouth when I floss between the crown. There is no swelling or pain around the gum area. At first I thought it had something to with a nasal drip, but just started noticing that it happens when I floss this one spot.
I have my maxed out my yearly dental benefit, so I will not be able to go to my dentist until at least January and don't know if he will even be able to do anything. Can anyone offer any suggestions?
