Bleeding gum overnight

Dear Doctor,

I am 26 years old female and I woke up this morning and had coagulated blood (or something brown) all over my front theeth and inner lower lip. I dont remember this happening to me since I was a teenager. I was wondering what this could be due to. I wash my teeth twice a day minimum and try to brush them properly. I do only floss every once in a while though.
Thank you for your time,

Janet

It sounds to me like you need to make a visit to your dentist.I don't know how long it has been since you got a cleaning and check up.

I actually got my teeth clened 2 months ago, so I guess thats not the issue here, unless my dentist is a bad professional.
