Bleeding gums

I have noticed in many patients and peoples that despite good oral hygiene with regular brushing, flossing, massage, and following various healthy activities for teeth they tend to have regular gum bleeding which may be worsened during constipation and usually improve with Flagyl or ornidazole intake which indicates that bacteria plays a major role in gum health or there is any particular blood disorder beside from. scurvy, which causes gum bleeding in these type of person.  In homoeopathy, there are some medicine which works for whom who has a general bleeding tendency i.e. Phosphorus.

In general, metronidazole is active against Anaerobic, gram negative bacteria, such as baterioides species, which is a common periodontal pathogen. Clinically. metronidazole + amoxicillin or metronidazole + clindamycin are commonly administered for acute priodontal infection. Many patients are affilcted with chronic adult periodontitis although good oral hygiene is implemeted, The reason is root surface has been infected, which can not be debrided by personal hygiene mainteinance. Professional debridement of root surface is mandatory in order to achieve optimal periodontal health. Once root surface is free of plaque, healthy periodontal tissue is attained.
