Bonding Broken Teeth

This discussion is related to Broken Front Tooth.
I would like to know, How long attached broken teeth lasts.
Can we use the attached teeth for byte as normal teeth.
My front upper right teath was broken as 1/4 piece. A good experienced dentist attached the teeth using blue light and resin composite material.
