Bone graft is vibrate and smell bad when it expose

I had a bone graft for tooth #10, it to bolky and expose after surgery 2 months.  I start notice bad smell and the sour taste.  4 month after bone graft, Sugeon try to place implant but it not ready because bone graft still vibrate.  He closed it up and patted a soft tissue to cover the expose area, but it failed.  I had that piece of tissue removed and leaved the bone draft open about 6 weeks.  It smell very bad.  Now, implant had placed 2 week aready, but there is not alot soft tissue around it, so it expose again and smell very bad.  This morning I saw blood come out but don't know where from, gum or implant?  Is it mean the bone draft is death.  should I remove it?  or it may cause more problem later on if they draft it up again?  This case,  How could it effect the suround are?  How long this bone draft and implant last?  Bone draft can be thin out by sending it off?  Please advise what I should do.

Thanks,
Vivian

Are you from the U.S.? Your descriptions are rare occurence. Bone graft material is not supposed to smell bad in the oral cavity. If there be bad smell from graft site, it probably indicates infection, and proper healing is probably questionable. seeing an implantologist is advised.

I had four spots done with bone grafts my husband had one . My three spots were fine one became infected smelled so bad my doctor told me not to eat on that side I just stuck to soup for four weeks . My husbands was infected too we were both on clindamycin for seven more  days and told to come back in seven days to see if the infection is down  . The smell is bad and I have been doing oil pulling to help pull the pus /infection out. I wish the doctor would of drained the infection
