Bonegraft/Fosamax

On July 1, I posted a question to Dr Tsang with regard to bone graft/implant (one already done and another to be done later in this month).  The two being eye teeth (upper left and right).  So far, as of  this date, I have not had a reply.  I would like to know if the Fosamax has any bearing on why my teeth are getting loose.

To Nee08  Thank you for the reply, is nice to know that someone else out there was having the same problem as me.  I also stopped taking the medication for bone health too.  You may be interested in reading an article about it written by an ob-gyn on this website, I forgot her name, but you can get it here.  Very very interesting, and I'm sorry that I started taking it in the first place without questioning its side effects.

Ijust had an ext and bone graft and it was recommended for me to also stop my osteoporosis meds as they do affect healing.  I didn't aske for details, both my DS and MD agreed.

Thank you for responding to my posted comments.  If I did have peridontal problems, how come the loosening of the two teeth only happened with teeth that had root canals.  My own teeth were not affected.  Thanks again.

Assuming loose teeth refering to increased tooth mobility, which is associated with periodontal disease, occlusal trauma, or bone pathology. Fosamax is not likely to cause tooth mobility.
